Saint Paul, MN • A Family Constellation Workshop with Bill Mannle: THE MYSTERIOUS LIFE OF THE HEART - Passion, Love and Longing

Our yearning to connect and belong is primal. The force that pushes and pulls us towards another or others is love. Disruptions in the flow of love, either through trauma or loss, carried across generations, create disturbances that often lead to illness, emotional distress, addictions, and broken relationships.

San Francisco, CA • A Family Constellation Workshop with Bill Mannle: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYING?

Disruptions in the flow of love, either through trauma, loss, or exclusions, create disturbances that, if carried across generations, often lead to illness, emotional distress, addictions, and broken relationships. Because the longing for repair and balance runs deep, children, out of love for mother or father, will try to carry their parent's pain and grief in an attempt to restore balance. The unconscious movement is to stay focused on the parents and not find fulfillment in one's life.

Ghost Ranch, NM • 9th Annual Western Constellations Intensive: FLOW OF WATER, FLOW OF LOVE

Systemic Constellations Work is about the alignments and arrangements in our larger family and communal stories, similar to the web of relationship we find in all ecosystems, including deserts. All of us are the recipients of many generations of collective experiences, just like a desert inherits millennia of unfolding geological, meteorological, plant, animal, and human processes. The practice of Constellations explores how the more immediate situations in our lives fit into those broad patterns that precede our individual lives, just like we see the results of geological history in the layers we see before us now in cliffs, arroyos, and bosques.

Dublin, Ireland • A Family Constellation Workshop with Bill Mannle: HOW DO YOU WANT TO BE LOVED?

This workshop grew out of the question above: How Do You Want To Be Loved? When I would ask this question of clients, there often followed a pause, a slight shudder in the body, a deep sigh, and sometimes tears. I am interested in that pause, the body response, the exquisite raw emotion that said, “See me.”

THE MYTH OF SAFETY

THE MYTH OF SAFETY

Throughout history, the space between what we know for sure and what lies ahead has been called the "unknown" by wise people, mystics, and thinkers. When we feel like our safety is at stake, the thought of the unknown can bring about feelings of anxiety. For those who have experienced trauma or grew up in an unstable environment, the desire and effort to feel "normal" and to avoid the fear contained in uncertainty can be overwhelming. We will encapsulate our early childhood traumas to protect us from pain, to feel safe, and possibly to avoid "breakdown." We often develop harmful habits, construct barriers, fabricate stories, or rely on relationships for safety. To live a life free and unencumbered, we must confront our fears.

"The way out is through." Robert Frost

During this workshop, you will have the chance to delve into safety, certainty, and fear. Through constellations, small group exercises, and rituals, you will develop the ability to embrace uncertainty, understand what it means to feel safe, find balance in your life, and develop strategies to lead a more open and fulfilling life.
